DOCUMENTARY
Boys of
ancient Spartan were picked up by their families when they was 7 years old and
they put in military fields of training. The events in this short clip
illustrate the phases of their hard training.
The
parents were the first Teachers for the Sons. The frequent ritual for the boys,
was frequent whippings " to temper the physicist and to withstand with
courage the pain "
in
today's days it is unthinkable, but in the antiquity, the severe formation of
the boys was necessary to form the sons to become the future soldiers of
Sparta.
